Dotan Negrin Piano Across America is the story of a pianist named Dotan Negrin and his dog, Brando, as they travel across the United States with an upright piano in a truck. Wunmi at South Africa Freedom Day 2009

Wunmi

To help celebrate the 15th anniversary of the ending of apartheid, and the election of the first African American president, MoCADApartnered with the Museum for African Art and Imagenation to host Brooklyn’s first ever South African Freedom Day! The event will featured live musical and dance performances, arts & crafts, food by Madiba, and the film Come Back, Africa, featuring the late iconic performer, Mariam Makeba! Nigerian artist Wunmi was the final artist and she gave a rousing performance.
